Helping leaders think bigger, decide clearer, and deliver.
For over 20 years, Rosser & Associates has empowered organisational leaders and their teams to lift performance and deliver their most important projects — honestly, practically, and with lasting results.
Trusted by leading New Zealand and global organisations
A selection of the organisations whose leaders and teams we’ve partnered with over the past two decades.
When the pressure is on and the answers aren't obvious
We partner with organisations, government agencies and business owners who are ready to grow — through change, complexity, and the moments that matter most.
- Executives stepping into bigger roles who need to think more strategically.
- Leadership teams who need to realign, rebuild trust, and pull in the same direction.
- Emerging leaders ready to build the behaviours that carry them further.
It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.
— Adapted from Charles Darwin. It’s the belief at the heart of how we coach: the answers are in you; our job is to help you find and act on them.
The real key to lasting results is your people
Most organisations enjoy periods of success. The ones that sustain and grow it are those that invest wisely in their people — keeping a continual focus on their development, and building the strong relationships that real performance depends on.
Why most training doesn’t stick
Most leadership, management and training programmes fail to deliver measurable, lasting results — because they don’t focus on the individual, aren’t easily applied to real situations, don’t require people to embed the learning back in the workplace, and lack any framework for ongoing evaluation and measurement.
The Rosser & Associates approach
- We start with the individual’s real development needs
- Customised learning, applied directly to your situation
- Learning embedded back in the workplace — not left in the room
- Ongoing evaluation and measurement of real, lasting change

Values that have held true for 20 years
Honest & direct
Real progress needs real conversations. We'll tell you what we see — kindly, but straight.
People first
Empower the people and the performance follows. Everything we do starts with the person.
Results that last
We measure success in what changes afterwards — not just on the day. The real test is progress that still holds months and years later.
Tailored, never templated
No two leaders are the same. Every engagement is shaped around you and your goals.
Strategic by nature
We help you lift your gaze from the day-to-day to the bigger picture — and act on it.
A trusted partner
Discreet, experienced and in your corner — for a season or for the long haul.
Two decades. Countless leaders. One consistent focus: your success.
Practical support, tailored to the challenge in front of you.
From one-to-one coaching to whole-of-business change, everything is built around your people and your results.
Building project management capability in your people
Practical project management training and development that equips your people with the skills and confidence to lead projects well — planning and scoping, managing budgets and timelines, engaging stakeholders, navigating risk and change, and keeping teams aligned from kick-off to close. We build the capability in your team.

Clearer thinking, better decisions, real confidence
Focused one-to-one coaching for organisational leaders. We create the space to step back, challenge assumptions, and build the strategic thinking and behaviours that move you — and your organisation — forward. Programmes draw on the Leadership Behaviours Profile 360° and emotional-intelligence measurement, with SMART goals and real accountability.

Turning capable managers into trusted leaders
Whether for an individual or a team, we develop the mindset, self-awareness and habits that great leadership is built on — including practical, measurable training that sticks — grounded in your real situation, not theory.

A steady hand through change and complexity
When the path is uncertain — change management, restructuring, realignment or mediation — we bring calm, experienced, tailored support to help you make the right calls and carry your people with you.

"Christine has a real gift for working with people"
"She has a sharp intuition for tapping into people's skills and strengths, and gives constructive, insightful and supportive feedback. Since I started coaching with Christine three years ago, I've developed real confidence and a clear sense of where to focus. She's not a 'soft' coach and will challenge you — but she has a finely tuned awareness of your potential and will support and guide you to that place."

What clients say
“Independent, trusting advice and support drawn from real knowledge and experience of the industry — it assisted my growth and performance, not only in the workplace but personally. It exceeded my expectations.”
“Christine brought a wealth of knowledge to the programme and was incredibly supportive throughout the entire course. Her expertise was evident in every aspect of the training, and she consistently offered guidance and encouragement, making complex concepts more accessible. Her support not only enhanced the learning experience but made the journey much more manageable and enjoyable.”
“Christine was an amazing facilitator — I could not have asked for better. She was attentive, a great communicator, supportive and extremely knowledgeable. She shared many of her own work experiences and examples, which made a huge difference and gave the team something to relate to. I learnt so much from each of the sessions. I found the course engaging, informative and interesting all the way through.”
“Christine was the most effective and inspirational tutor and coach I have experienced in management and leadership training — and I have attended a number of similar courses over the years. She shared her wealth of experience, professional approach and expertise to enable our team to learn from ‘real’ situations while working through the course content. It also gave our team of service managers, most of whom were new to the organisation, the chance to build a close and supportive working relationship that continued well after the course.”
“The modules on time management, goal setting and managing conflict had the greatest impact on my own performance. Using real-time examples from my workplace, I could see the direct benefit of implementing the tools. The ultimate success was my team using goal-setting and time-management strategies to successfully manage a major public relations event. I have since shared the work-prioritisation modules with my team to great effect, and recommended they be adopted across the organisation.”
“Much of my enjoyment came from Christine’s ability to teach the content in a way that is stimulating, inspirational and ‘real’, remaining unbiased and presenting different perspectives that encouraged — and sometimes challenged — our thinking. I would thoroughly recommend this programme.”
“Christine was truly exceptional. I found her incredibly relatable, which made our interactions comfortable and engaging. She has a remarkable ability to explain complex concepts in a way that’s easy to understand, demonstrating her deep knowledge of project management. Her communication skills are outstanding. Overall, Christine’s expertise and approachable nature made a big difference to my learning experience.”
“I was very unsure what the coaching would involve, and entered the first session with some trepidation. Christine was honest and encouraging — I always came out feeling better and more positive. Would I recommend coaching with Christine? Yes, definitely.”
“As a new business owner Christine empowered me to recognise my own skills and have confidence in my ability. A genuine and commercially savvy person with a real gift for helping people and businesses realise their potential.”
“Best facilitator I've had the pleasure to learn with. A great understanding of the subject, and able to make the learning interesting and applicable to everyone despite our different backgrounds. Great stuff!”
“Christine's knowledge, experience and friendly manner were invaluable in lifting both my sales team and my own performance. Ideas were discussed in an open, safe environment and turned into successful strategies to move the company forward.”
“A very positive experience that assisted my personal development, growth and confidence. The executive coaching helped me manage difficult situations and adjust my communication to get the best from my staff.”
“The gained value to the business is far in excess of the investment. After witnessing three of my supervisors change in confidence and enthusiasm through a Leadership Development course, I went along myself — and I'm certainly glad I did. All of the programmes were delivered to a very high professional standard, adding real value in leadership, attitude, confidence, communication and building relationships.”
The difference, in practice
Five examples of the change we help create. Open each to see the solution and the results.
A high-performing team imploding from within
SituationA private health service had a regional team generating very high sales and profit revenues — but a management style that was imploding and self-destructing the team supporting them. Team members refused to work from the offices.
Rosser & Associates held an intensive two-day workshop that addressed negative attitudes, bullying and inappropriate behaviours. Individual buy-in and acknowledgement of responsibility was achieved, and a team vision with structure and frameworks was established so everyone could resume working collaboratively. Coaching programmes were implemented to achieve the desired behavioural and attitudinal changes and to develop key leadership skills, with ongoing reviews to support and sustain the new behaviours, values and goals.
ResultsThe team developed an improved way of working together, achieving greater outcomes and results. Personal relationships improved, motivation and productivity increased, and a culture of trust and respect in the workplace was restored.
A stalled installation heading for legal action
SituationA significant systems installation was behind schedule and over budget. Extreme levels of frustration internally stalled the project and impacted external customers — with both sides considering legal action.
The first step was to address the conflict, find ways to work through its causes, and progress the project forward. A full day off-site session was held with all key decision-makers. Having reduced the escalating conflict, Rosser & Associates was then able to assist the client with process improvement, project management and meeting facilitation.
ResultsConflict was reduced and new frameworks were established to process issues. The systems installation continued, legal action was avoided, and key players are now working together rather than against one another.
A senior leadership team working in silos
SituationA large public organisation’s senior leadership team was not operating collaboratively and was working in silos. Risk levels increased and critical incidents occurred as a result.
Rosser & Associates developed a tailored Leadership Development programme designed to fine-tune the leaders’ management style. The team went through a personalised developmental module programme that required significant input and commitment, building increased awareness, engagement and leadership skills — and the reality of direct feedback at individual, team and organisational levels, in a safe and supportive context.
ResultsThe leadership team developed a more collaborative way to work together and to use their organisational resources. Interpersonal conflict is now welcomed and used to serve continuous improvement, rather than being a source of negativity and team derailment.
An expert whose frustration was derailing a government project
SituationA senior executive advising on technical aspects of a significant government project was unable to communicate the background supporting his recommendations. His frustration led him to act inappropriately and unprofessionally, jeopardising both his role and key project outcomes.
A personalised leadership coaching programme supported with 360° feedback from all stakeholders, emotional-intelligence measurement and benchmarking, a personalised development plan, and goal setting with clear strategies to achieve the desired outcomes.
BenefitsGreater self-awareness developed, new behaviours learned and sustained, improved working relationships established, professional respect regained, and better-quality project and team outcomes.
A three-way merger that had stalled
SituationA large national organisation acquired three smaller organisations, merging the teams into one culture and moving from a variety of service offerings to a single model. The change process had stalled, the project was behind its milestones, and frustration had turned to resistance — work outputs plummeted and customers were at risk.
A best-practice management programme was delivered over eight months. Business-improvement projects were identified and delivered, with key managers, team leaders and supervisors working collaboratively toward the business goals. Team goals were developed to achieve the desired change, performance groups were established to resolve project obstacles, and team-engagement programmes achieved buy-in across the organisation.
BenefitsThe change programme was achieved and one culture was embedded, working collaboratively to support the single-model offering and maximise the business opportunities. Teams were motivated and achieving, and key stakeholders were engaged positively.
