Situation
A large national organisation acquired three smaller organisations, merging teams to one culture. Service offerings changed from a variety of solutions to one single model offering being quite different and a change from their prior business service offerings.
The change process had stalled, the project was behind delivering on the agreed milestones, and frustration had moved to resistance, work outputs plummeted, customers were at risk.
Solution
A best practice management program was delivered over 8 months. Business improvement projects were identified and delivered. Key managers, team leaders and supervisors all worked collaboratively to achieve the business goals. Understanding was gained, team goals developed to achieve desired changes and outcomes. Performance groups established resolving project obstacles. Team engagement programmes achieved buy-in across the organisation.
Benefits
The change programme was achieved, one culture was embedded working collaboratively supporting the single model offering and maximising the business opportunities. Motivated teams achieving. Key stakeholders engaged positively.
